4010 – this is the RAL-code for Telekom's brand color magenta. And it is also the name of the first Telekom store if its kind in Berlin Mitte. It is still a shop with offerings from T-Mobile, T-Home and T-Entertain, with DSL router, fax and mobile phones, but it is also a gallery and an event location. Besides all the high tech "4010" also sets analog contrasts with a "concept room" for exhibitions and temporary shops and also a "gallery wall", regularly re-filled by different artists.
There is also room to try things out, surf for free and have a cup of tea, turning the store into a communicative social space. That definitely does not sound like a regular T-store. Reason enough for the Warriors to support this concept with a web design, that is also atypical for the Telekom and everything but normal.
The focus of this first version of the website is on the store – not just lip service, this time it is for real: In a regularly updated full-screen background video the user takes a look at what is going on in the store right now. Content is structured in a blog style, authentic and laid-back just as the whole store.
